- Is your role in x91the lion kingx92 your debut on Broadway? Or you played in more musicals before?

It is my first time being on Broadway but I have been on off Broadway shows like Peter Pan playing an Indian and stuff like that.

- When did you hear about the auditions? You wanted to do the audition immediately? (you really wanted to play the role of Nala, or you just did the audition)
Yes as soon as I saw the casting call I wanted to audition I was so excited.

- Were you nervous for your audition?
Yes I felt like I was going to pee in my pants but I didnx92t I pulled through.

- When you heard you had the part of Nala, what did you do? Screamed, cried, of something else? Screamed and laughed I was like so excited

- Were you nervous for your first show? How was it..?
no not really I was really excited actually.

- In Holland , it takes +/- 30 minutes for the make-upx85whatx92s that in America ? Because your make-up is different than ours..
For our hair and Makeup all together it takes and hour we have to arrive at the theatre at 12:50 if the show starts at 2:00 and we have ot be at the theatre at 6:50 if the show starts at 8:00

- Are you in the theatre every day/evening? The first day for your own show, and the other day youx92re stand-by? Or not..?
I stand by 4 times and perform 4 times a week. So I have to be at Lion king for like 8 times a week.

- In Holland wex92ve got some kids who likes to be funny (make funny faces)
We call them x91grazy nalax92sx92 Are you a x91grazyx92 Nala too sometimes?
Yeah we are like little clowns running around backstage

- Do you have a special x91relationx92 with one/some cast member(s)?
Yeah a lot of them

- Do you see your colleagues in the cast as a sort of family, or just as colleagues / friends?
Family

- Which scxe8ne is the coolest to play? x91ourx92 kids like the x91olifantenkerkhofx92 the most. This is the scxe8ne after x91just canx92t wait to be kingx92.
I think itx92s the scene where we pin samba.

- Which song do you like the most in the whole musical? And which one of your own songs do you like the most?
I like the Circle of life out of the show and out of the songs I sing I like Lioness chant because it powering.

- What do you feel when youx92re on stage, during the first scxe8ne, when everybody is saying x91ooh, aah, etc.x92 Do you feel very special on these moments?
yes

- Did you ever make a blooper on stage?
Yes like almost all the time but the audience doesnx92t notice because itx92s like there first time seeing the show so they think itx92s part of the show. LOL

- In Holland , the kids canx92t play for 6 months 4 times a week, like you do. They play 24 times a year. You are playing this role a lot, isnx92t that tiring for you?
No itx92s a lot of fun.

- Whatx92s your coolest/best experience on stage? You played a special show (for example a benefit-show, or the 1000^th show or something like that)
When it was my first show everyone was life congrats and stuff like that. LOL

- Youx92re on stage almost every day, isnx92t the show boring now? I mean, youx92ve played it a lot. every time the same thing. Donx92t you get used to it?
No because something weird or like technical difficulty happens.

- Do you want to do this (singing, acting, dancing in a Broadway show) in your future? You want to play more?
I donx92t want to do Broadway I want to do like movies and TV

- Do you have a lot of fans? Whatx92s the most special thing a fan ever did for you?
You inspire me to act and dance and sing and stuff like that.

- When youx92re on the streets/ at school, people recognise you as x91the star of the lion kingx92?
In school yes on the street sometimes

- Youx92re playing a lot of shows. But are you going to a x91normalx92 school? Or are you going to something else. ( I read about the Billy Elliotx92s in London . They are living in a special Billy-home in the city, and they are studying every day with a teacher whox92s coming every day to their home) So..they donx92t live with their parents, but they live with all other kids of the musical. Is this the same with you?
No Ix92m being home schooled. A school will send me my work from there school and I do the work and I give it to them.

- Why is it possible to work this long? In Holland wex92ve got a law, and the kids canx92t play more than 24 shows and 24 times stand-by in one year. In America you can play 1 year 4 times a weekx85we donx92t understand how thatx92s possible
. You can play for even 5 years itx92s just that I donx92t know any kid that can stay under the height of 4×9411. I donx92t know whay we get to play more than you guys that sucks that you guys can only perform 24 times
